After a less than gorgeous past few weeks of weather here in North Wales, reports suggest that we could be going back to the brilliant climates from July. Do you know what that means? Plenty of events to enjoy near your caravan parks in Llandudno.

Tour of Britain – 08/09/2014
The self-proclaimed biggest professional cycle race throughout the country, the Tour of Britain speeds its way onto the North Wales coast this September.

Incorporating many areas of this fantastic region, the tour will enter Llandudno the day after it begins on the 7th. Any cyclists out there would be remiss to not get in on the action when Stage Two of the event rolls into town on the 8th of September. With 6 other stages to contend with, expect this to be a fiercely contested battle between some serious cycling talent.

LLAWN02 – 19/09/2014 to 21/09/2014
Are you an art lover? Purveyor of the fascinating and sometimes bizarre? Then you need to get yourself to Llandudno this September for the return of the Llandudno Arts Weekend, also known as LLAWN.

In its maiden year in 2013, LLAWN delighted the many people lucky enough to see its many exhibitions, family events, installations and more with 2014 looking like building on that even further. One of the most intriguing things to do this time round will be a grand tour around the long vacant, grand Tudno Castle Hotel. As if you need any further reasons to check it out, the whole weekend is free too!

International Ocean Film Festival – 20/09/2014
Being so close to the sea, Llandudno has always had a close affinity with all things nautical and it will welcome the very first International Ocean Film Festival this September.

No need to bring your snorkel to this great occasion situated on the town’s famous promenade – simply kick back and relax with
some of the most captivating ocean films you’re likely to see. A thought-provoking but nonetheless enjoyable day out is open to all and that’s without even mentioning the prize giveaway on the day.
