The 2013 Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza is set to take place on the 4th, 5th and 6th May 2013, in what will the most recognised annual event that takes place in the beautiful seaside resort of Llandudno. This is the biggest and best Victorian style festival in Great Britain, with a huge range of shows, stalls, steam engines, musical organs, cars, costumes, sideshows and of course, fairground rides. For those in the midlands, the special double-headed Steam Train (5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe/4965 Rood Ashton Hall) will be travelling over to the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza on Saturday 5th May. The Grand Parade takes place at 1pm each day and is full of marching bands, Victorian costume walkers, steam engines, vintage vehicles, Britain’s best Town Criers, stilt walkers, street entertainers, Star Wars characters and many more. The parade starts at 1pm from the Railway Station and goes along Madoc Street, up Chapel Street, turns right onto Gloddaeth Avenue to the promenade and then into the main area near the town hall where the parade disperses.
