If you are lucky enough to be staying at one of our holiday homes in the scenic valley of North Wales this summer then we can’t think of a better way to spend a sun drenched evening than to attend one of Llandudno’s most popular local attractions; this year’s most anticipated seafront music festival, Headstock at The Kings Head.
Situated next to the Great Orme Tramway, The Kings Head showcases only the best musical talent that North Wales has to offer with local and regional bands performing live outdoors on the raised patio area.
Headstock is an annual music festival that is spread across three days throughout the summer period. The next two dates for the event are on Sunday, August 13th and Sunday, August 27th, and from 2 pm till late you can expect nothing but high-quality entertainment, food and drink. The car park and beer garden combine to create the perfect amount of space for locals and visitors to enjoy the venues’ music and entertainment.
The renowned bands taking the stage this year include Chris Mac, Retro Youth, The Kev & Arthur Groove, Scapegoats, Mad Haven and Lost Cabaret, among many more, with the ever vibrant False Alibi headlining the final Sunday once again.
It first began in 2003 when former staff member James Cassidy and other musically minded staff came up with the concept. Since then the event has continued to grow every year and can guarantee you a phenomenally atmospheric evening.
The Kings Head is the oldest pub in Llandudno and they consistently maintain their reputation of being a friendly establishment by providing only the highest quality food and drink, alongside a fantastic atmosphere provided by local entertainment, performances and events.
With free entry, a great venue and an excellent line-up, there is no excuse to miss out on such an impressive event as this.
